Monarch releases Dye Test Kit for Screen Printers
Monarch releases to the general public the ability to test the dye fastness of any fabric, before you print on it. This is another industry first for Monarch. “Polyester and Polyester Blend fabrics can be challenging to print on because you don’t know if the dye was properly set. Our dye test kit, gives you the ability to test the dye fastness of any fabric, before you print on it.” States Aaron Blank, Vice President Sales & Marketing Screen Products. “This is key to eliminating returns based upon dye migration and bleeding. Our goal is to help printers eliminate returns. Low Temp Cure Ink can only do so much. Some fabric is so poorly dyed, that low temp ink is not enough. Our Dye Test Kit will help you determine if you need a dye blocker, or if low temp ink will do enough to ensure no dye migration or bleed,” says Aaron.
